A Helping Hand Adoption Agency is a Christian interdenominational ministry dedicated to serving orphans around the world through adoptions and orphan relief. Since 1995 we have placed over 1700 children from China, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Russia, Guatemala and from our domestic birthparents. We are a non-profit child placing agency licensed in Kentucky and Hague accredited by COA. We are members of the National Council for Adoption and the National Christian Adoption Fellowship.

Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of children and families through advocacy, education, and adoption. We are a small agency focused on building a supportive community for our families. We pledge excellent communication, ethical facilitation, and exceptional care to all entrusted to us. We are honored to be assisting vulnerable children around the world through humanitarian projects and presently facilitate adoptions in the countries of Ethiopia and China.

Families Thru International Adoption

Families Thru International Adoption, Inc. is a not-for-profit, licensed child placement agency specializing exclusively in international adoptions. FTIA is committed to providing assistance to children around the world. We believe that God calls all of us to care for, love and nurture children. In a perfect world, every child would remain with their birth family in their country of origin and have the opportunity to grow up in an atmosphere of happiness and love, with all physical needs met. Unfortunately, this is not a perfect world and many children are born into very difficult circumstances and end up living in orphanages or welfare homes. When remaining or reuniting with the birth family is not possible, we work diligently to find caring families who long to provide permanent, stable and loving homes for these children.

FTIA helps families adopt children from Russia, China, Ethiopia, and India. We travel to these countries and we have representatives who work for us in these countries. Each of our adoption programs was started after substantial research, several trips overseas, and much background investigation – we know adoptions in these countries.

FTIA has placed more than 3,500 children with their forever families.

In addition, FTIA provides humanitarian aid in China, Russia, Guatemala, Vietnam, and other countries for orphanage construction, foster care programs, flood relief and much more.

Love Basket

Founded in 1979 and licensed as a child-placement agency in 1982, Love Basket has been building families through adoption for over 25 years.

Internationally, Love Basket features adoption programs and also provides humanitarian aid to destitute children and families in countries around the world. Love Basket was approved in 2008 to serve as a provider of adoption services under the Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption.

Love Basket’s domestic (US-born infant) program began in 1985, in response to requests for help from women in the midst of unplanned pregnancies. This program has grown steadily, and we presently have staff and licensed offices in Missouri, Minnesota and Kentucky. Our goal at Love Basket is to assist the pregnant woman (and the birth father, if he is involved) in choosing the option — adoption or parenting — that is best for them and their baby. If adoption is their choice, our staff stays alongside the birth parents, guiding them through the process of selecting adoptive parents and seeing the placement completed.

Our staff also works with families as they prepare for parenthood through adoption. From assisting with the application process, to completing home studies, to gathering the necessary paperwork for each placement, to being available as a resource after placement, Love Basket is dedicated to serving each of our families in the future just as we have since our beginning in 1982.
